The year 1992 was when Amanda Bossard began her study of marine biology in Anchorage in Alaska at the University of Alaska Pacific. Bossard started her commercial seafood career in 1999, when she began working on the vessel F/V Sunset. This 65' schooner converted to an ice-fish tender was operated by Murat Aritan.
