Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on 1 October 1995 in Berkeley, California, USA. Her acting credits include Choices 2010, The Heart and Other Small Shapes 2006 and Chrissie Mayr's Content House Asia Argento was raised in Rome by a film maker and actor family. Both professions she pursued her own. At nine years of age the actress made her film debut alongside Sergio Citti in Sogni e bisogni. The year 1988 saw her played the lead role in Cristina Comencini's first movie Zoo (1988) and as also being a member of Michele Soavi's cast in The Church (1989). In 1989, she portrayed Nanni Moretti's (also directed) daughter, also directed by Michele Soavi in Red Wood Pigeon. Close Friends (1992), written and directed by Michele Placido was the film that really launched Asia's professional path.
